Focus Group

Our song was Jamie T- Ike and Tina. Through doing this focus group we were able to gather views and peoples perceptions on what was good and bad in this music video. Through doing this we were able to recognise as a group what we thought they liked and disliked so that we had clearer ideas as to what to include, or not include in our own music video. We were able to gain some advice from the audience watching as well which was good because now we know we are thinking twice about putting certain things in our music video. This is good because our own music video will be improved through getting people's opinions on the video, who are our age because a lot of the people who watch music videos now are our age or a bit older (14 - 22). This is good because this is the audience we are going to be aiming our video at so getting the opinions on what is good and bad in the video is vital pieces of information.

Overall this is an excellent exercise to do towards our music video as we now know what people our age like, dislike, look for and expect in a music video.
