Layout Of My Digipak and Camera Angles
Through doing this planning task I have been able to visualise what I want my 6 sided digipak to have on it and look roughly like. Through planning which digipak to do (4 or 6 panel) I was then able to plan how I will present the pictures and artwork on it. I chose to do a 6 panel digipak because they are more attractive and exciting to look at because there is more chances to present artwork and photography of the artist. Overall, planning what my digipak will look like is what will make my final digipak look professional because I have a original idea which can be altered and modified based on the pictures I take when I do my photo shoot and edit all my digipak together.
Digipak Advert Planning
Through planning my digipak advert I have been able to chose what I am going to include on it such as quotes from major magazines and websites about the reviews of the digipak. This way it makes the advert seem more professional and appealing. As well as this I have been able to plan out my layout for my advert so I know which codes and conventions of a digipak/album advert should be presented where on the page. This is so it is modified to the audiences actions; e.g, knowing where the audience will look first on a poster/advert. As well as having these conventions, the various formats the digipak will be accessible on is important for reassurance and providing information for the audience so they know where to find it when it comes out. The reason why I am including these things on my advert is because these are the codes and conventions which I feel are the most important and effective.
Apart from the text and typography on my advert, the picture is what type of camera angle I want so that the audience are able to connect with my artist as best as possible. This would be a striking camera angle because the camera angle is a mid shot/close up which emphasises the facial expressions from the artist.
